Chocolate Almond Energy Cubes

These Chocolate Almond Energy Cubes are delicious and very simple to make!  Whether you have them as a snack, a pre-workout food or a breakfast…they simply do the trick!  Of course because they’re chocolate, the kids love them!  Best part is that you can make them into any shape you want. We did them in cubes just to try something other than balls and bars.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Gluten-free Rolled Oats
  • ¼ cup Chia Seeds
  • ¼ cup Hemp Hearts
  • 4 Tbsp Raw Cacao Powder
  • 2 Tbsp Cinnamon
  • ½ cup Raw Almond Butter (or other nut/seed butter)
  • 1/3 cup Maple Syrup
  • 1 tsp Pure Vanilla Extract

Directions:

  1. In a glass bowl, combine all the dry ingredients
  2. Add all the wet ingredients to the glass bowl
  3. Mix the everything together
  4. Line a glass dish with parchment paper (for easy removal prior to cutting)
  5. Place the mixture into a glass dish and flatten it to your desired thickness
  6. Place it in the fridge for a few minutes so it hardens
  7. Remove it from the fridge and pop out the parchment paper in order to cut them into cubes or whatever shape you’d like (can be a bar, square…

We hope you really enjoy these chocolate almond energy cubes, let us know what you think!
