Hey Plant Trainers, thank you for an extremely useful podcast! Recently, the schoolwork has been piling up and I’ve just been under a lot of stress lately. The title of your podcast really drew me I because I wanted to know how to get rid of my stress. At the beginning of the podcast you discussed how nowadays often people don’t think about what they eat, I have to admit that I am amongst those people that grab the easiest food and throw it in their mouths. The quote you brought up regarding this topic “Every Time you eat or drink you are either feeding disease or fighting it.” ~ Heather Morgan, it really resonates with me because its very true that food is a powerful weapon and it could be used to help our bodies or harm us, and its up to us to decide whether or not to use it to our advantage or not. After listening to your podcast I will definitely be more cautious of what I’m eating. You started talking about stress, and how to break down the two types whether its good stress that motivates you or bad stress that makes you preform worse. You definitely helped me identify where my stress is coming from which is a major help. You pointed out that sleep is a major key in the process of busting your stress, and seeing its so important it makes sense that I would need to prepare for my sleep to get the most out of it. I usually am on my phone right up until I fall asleep which I realize is a horrible habit, I will definitely start turning off my phone and other electronics at least an hour before I go to sleep. The last point that you make which really applies to me is that exercising is a great way to release stress, I’ve noticed this more recently, whenever I exercise I forget about all my stresses and it gives me some time to myself not worrying about everything else going on in my life. Just wanted to thank you again for a great podcast, cant wait to start busting my stress!
