In this episode of Hey Plant Trainers, I address vitamins for kids. Of course, I had to begin with what vitamins I do not recommend for kids. I am appalled by some of the bottles I see on the shelves that have more to do with marketing than health. I also take the time to talk about the importance of vitamin B12 and vitamin D. Understanding how they help our bodies is important when deciding that they should be given to our kids. Since we do not eat our veggies that coming from B12 rich soil and most of us do not get ample sunlight throughout the year as we live in cold climates and spend our days in buildings, these two vitamins are quite essential. Of course, every kid needs to be looked at as an individual along with their diet and health history. A good paediatrician or family doctor may have other recommendations for your unique situation when it comes to choosing vitamins for kids.

Here is Lidia’s question: “Hey Plant Trainers, what supplements or vitamins, if any, do you recommend for kids?
