In today’s episode of The Plant Trainers Podcast we talk to Gerdi Verwoert about the power of hiking. Gerdi is a life coach & mountain seeker extraordinaire who helps people who feel stuck in their lives or careers and helps them (re)discover what’s truly important to them so they can live their life with meaning. She’s a former project manager and consultant from the Netherlands with 20+ years experience in the corporate world.
At 45 she decided to live her own life with passion and meaning and together with her dog Paco she moved to the (Austrian) mountains. As a mountain hiking guide, Gerdi quickly found she was not just guiding people through the mountains, but also their lives. The powerful combination of coaching and nature, especially mountain hiking, was a path she meant to pursue. Now Gerdi coaches people in her practice »Dare Greatly Coaching« taking them on metaphorical and/or real mountain hikes!
Today we talk to Gerdi about the power of hiking, how it opens your mind and what you need to be prepared for the glorious mountains. There is a ton of inspiration in this show for you whether you haven’t been hiking since your cub scouts days or if you’re a pro.
