Many of us had very active lives and then somehow we’ve allowed it to slip away. Finding the motivation to get back in the gym, get back on the road or pick up a team sport again is daunting. There are some great tricks to keeping focused and making it happen. I refer back to PTP064 -Motivation for Workouts and Rewards and PTP038 – Making It Happen. It is vital to have some goals set out before you start working out again. Taking 5-10 minutes to WRITE, yes, write out your SMART goals can make a world of difference.
