In this episode of The Plant Trainers Podcast, we talk with Indi Hopkins about her journey with bipolar disorder and how plants and sports had an amazing impact on her healing. Indi can now thrive and live her most authentic self because of the steps she took to see how lifestyle can impact her health. We are so grateful for the honesty she shared in this episode and that we can be a platform to share such a sensitive story that we know can help others. Please be aware of your own triggers as we do discuss bipolar disorder and sexual assault. We discuss some ways you can find help in your area, but if you do find yourself in a state where you need help, please call your local emergency services or mental health helpline.

Indi is a true animal lover and nature enthusiast. She has been vegan for nearly five years and is passionate about animal welfare, and the environment. Indi is also an entrepreneur and behavioral dog trainer in Wilmington, NC, and has been helping dog families understand how to use positive reinforcement to gently and peacefully train their dogs. She is passionate about helping animal shelters caring for dogs who need behavioral training to become more easily adopted, as well as helping new adopters with their recent addition to the family. She has recently adopted her own pet, a very sweet pitbull named Bear, who spent a year in the shelter, and who is now enjoying long walks on the beach and making friends everywhere he goes.
