In this episode of The Plant Trainers Podcast, we talk with Dr. Cyrus Khambatta and Robby Barbaro, also known as the two guys from Mastering Diabetes. We have a great conversation about living with type 1 diabetes, and all things diabetes really. Wondering what the term insulin resistance means, or what about A1c? Don’t worry, we cover that, as well as signs you may be diabetic, what to expect while transitioning to a plant-based diet and what are the diabetic green light foods…could fruit possibly be included?
Cyrus Khambatta, PhD, and Robby Barbaro, MPH are the co-founders of Mastering Diabetes, a coaching program that teaches people how to reverse insulin resistance via low-fat, plant-based, whole-food nutrition.
