Traveling with two kids is hard.

Traveling with a son on a gluten-free diet can be even harder.

To make things even more challenging, we as parents are gluten free and vegan.  So when we travel, we know we need to have more food packed than clothes.

O’Doughs is our gluten free super hero.

Last weekend my family of four traveled to Ottawa for an event. Our son is 4 years old and our daughter is 2.  They are not used to eating in restaurants. We needed to have food with us that was easy to travel with, easy to store and that was appealing. My niece and nephew are able to scarf down the buffet pastries, but not my kids. They were so excited when I presented them with a big, moist Wild Blueberry Muffin. They were even more excited when they got to have another one the very next day! O’Doughs Wild Blueberry Muffins are hands down their favorite gluten free muffin.

My husband and I got to reap the benefits of O’Doughs fresh and delicious baked goods too.  I packed some tomatoes, some cucumber slices, a container of hummus and some of the new original O’Doughs Bagel Thins. I nuked the bagels in the hotel microwave, smothered on the humus, put on some veggies and we enjoyed amazing soft, fresh bagel sandwiches. Even my husband was satisfied!

Overall, I don’t know how I could have pulled off feeding the family away from home without O’Doughs products. They are fresh tasting, moist and easily portable.

Thank you O’Doughs!
