In this show we welcome Brett Blankner and Emily Rhodes as our first official guests. Emily and Brett are married and live in Texas with their super athletic son, Kai.  Brett has done 13 Iron Distance races and was the first Texan to swim the length of Lake Tahoe and he has accomplished a lot more! Brett is a USAT certified triathlon coach and is the host of one of the “longest running” Podcasts around, “Zen & The Art of Triathlon”. Emily works as a full time Oncology nurse and is active with many different races under her belt including several distances in triathlon and a half Iron.

Emily has run many half-marathons as well as a full marathon.  She also has done a few charity bike events raising money for great causes.  In the show, we learn about how they incorporate Zen into their daily lives. They share strategies on how to organize your life around your job, your workout schedule and busy schedules with kids too! Brett and Emily also share great tips for raising healthy, active and responsible kids.
